This is a fairly large cutting board that is also very striking in appearance with a alternating/descending thickness pattern. This is a face grain board which makes for a beautiful face but still has good qualities as a cutting board if so used. The two spices of wood used are North Carolina Cherry and Georgia Pecan. The approx. dimsa are 22 × 14 inches with a thickness of approx. 1-3/4. The bottom backing is spalted Poplar.
The board has rubber feet to help it stay in place
The finish is a mineral oil soak and then several hand rubbed coats of beeswax for protection.
